Pepino is known by many names such as pepino melon, melumber, melon pear, tree melon, melon shrub, mellowfruit, and melosa. In Indonesia, the pepino fruit is also known by the name of god and Husada purple fruit melody. Pepino name it self is derived from Spanish, which means cucumber pepino dulce sweet that it tastes like a combination of cucumber, cantaloupe, and honeydew melon.
